KES is equipped with three computer labs, one located in each of the three classroom wings. The West lab is supported with 19 iMacs running the Apple operating system. The North lab is supported with 23 computers running the Windows 2000 operating system. The East lab is supported with 24 terminal work stations, giving students direct access to our remote server. |

Students come to the computer lab to engage in a variety of learning activities using a variety of tools. Each lab has the ability to deliver programs on math, science, social studies, and literacy. In addition, students are introduced to keyboarding and the beginning skills necessary to become proficient touch-typists. |

Students may also come to the lab to engage in research using the Internet. Such surfing is done with the supervision of their teacher and students may only visit educational sites that have been approved by the school district. Our directory of educational sites are posted on our district web site (click here to view) so that students may use them at school as well as at home with their parents. |
